Job Description
Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Associate to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our portfolio management operations, including tracking stock portfolios, processing corporate actions, onboarding clients, and managing billing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial operations, portfolio tracking, and client servicing in the wealth management space.

Key Responsibilities:

- Portfolio Tracking: Monitor and track stock portfolios, update trade books, process corporate actions, and ensure accurate portfolio data.

- Performance Calculation: Calculate XIRR and portfolio returns, preparing performance reports and insights for client review.

- Client Onboarding: Oversee onboarding of clients, ensuring thorough KYC checks and compliance with regulatory standards.

- Mutual Funds Management: Support onboarding processes for mutual fund investments, assist with order placement and resolve any trade-related queries.

- Billing Management: Calculate and manage billing based on average daily portfolio values, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing.

- Reporting and Compliance: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Product, Finance, and Compliance, to streamline operational processes and deliver a seamless client experience.

RequirementsRequired Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations within the finance or wealth management industry, with a focus on portfolio management or related functions.

- Proficiency in tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and experience with financial or portfolio management software.

- Strong analytical skills with experience in calculating returns (XIRR) and portfolio performance metrics.

- Knowledge of KYC procedures, compliance requirements, and onboarding processes in the financial industry.

- Familiarity with mutual fund processes, order placements, and trade book management is highly desirable.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Educational Qualification:

- Formal educational qualifications are not mandatory. Relevant real-world experience and technical skills are prioritized.
