Digitization poses majorchallenges for many companies and will change processes immensely in the comingyears. This is also the case at Siemens Mobility GmbH – as a Senior SoftwareDeveloper (f/m/d), you will actively help shape and accompany a SiemensTeamcenter transformation project. The project works according to the SAFemethodology and aims to replace the current SAP PLM system with a modernTeamcenter system for approximately 15 000 users.

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer– Teamcenter Dispatcher

You’ll make a difference by:

Youare a Senior Software Developer in the Siemens Teamcenter transformationproject for the topic of "Dispatcher Framework" Yourresponsibility is the complete and consistent replacement of the existing SAPconversion solution with the new Teamcenter solution in this area of expertise. Youwill analyze the business requirements, the existing conversion landscape (boththe legacy landscape implemented for SAP as well as the partially set-up newlandscape for Teamcenter) and translate this into an optimized set-up forTeamcenter Youare responsible for aligning the solution design with stakeholders like theagile teams that provide the processual functionality of the system as well asintegrating the solution into the IT service for the system. Afocus area of your work with the dispatcher is to harden and stabilize thesolution. Youwill be responsible for the dispatcher framework in the system and will beresponsible for the topic beyond the project period. This includes maintainingand continuously optimizing the solution in the running service, e.g. bysolving errors and analyzing performance indicators. As amember of an agile, international team (SAFe methodology), you will workclosely with the product owner, the supplier's implementation experts and otherexperts in the team as well as across teams. Youhave a degree (Master's/Diploma) in computer science or a similar field ofstudy 4-8years of in-depth experience in the field of Teamcenter and its dispatcherframework, their design & development, as well asconfiguration/customizing, ideally within large distributed system environments Youhave a deeper knowledge of prepare and load classes for Teamcenter Dispatcher Ideallyyou possess knowledge of if integrating external translators into TeamcenterDispatcher Framework Goodknowledge of product development processes in the manufacturing industry isdesirable. Ideally,you also have experience in working in agile project teams Youhave a structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working,communication and teamwork skills Goodunderstanding for solution creation for Teamcenter Dispatcher Framework usingJAVA customization Verygood English skills are required due to the global orientation of the role,with German language skills being an additional advantage Highlyself-motivated. Abilityto lead change.
