Rolesand ResponsibilitiesRequirements
  • Mustprovide seniorlevel platform management and must lead technicaldelivery teams with planning and executing delivery tasks includingcoordination of all product releases.
  • Mustprovide leadership to direct and integrate activities across theprogram(s) to ensure successful implementation and support ofplatform tenancy.
  • Must create lead andimplement the tools to deliver an automated CI/CDpipeline based DevSecOps system capable ofsupporting containers compiled software applications scripts andsource code in a precompiled state.
  • Mustsupport the implementation ofInfrastructure as Code(IaC) Everything as Code (EaC)DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline automation strategies.
  • Must recommend evaluate and implement methodsto optimize and enhance the application within theIaaS/PaaS/SaaS and in a cloud environment tomaximize performance and minimize costs.
  • Mustdrive the unification and automation of processes to enable thedevelopment of software capability across the entireDOL organization instrumental in combining codeapplication maintenance and application management.
  • Must provide a strongunderstanding of the development lifecycle goals and thetransactions occurring within pipelines scanning tools deploymentsand all development lifecycle steps.
  • Must workactively with application development teams to coordinate andoptimize the steps that execute within the DevOps ecosystem andbring consistency and best practices in approach tools andstandards.
  • Must create and maintain fullyautomated Continuous Integration (CI) build andContinuous Deployment (CD) processes which includewriting builds and deployment scripts. Must actively participateand provide inputs in major design decisions working withArchitects.
  • Must design and develop the systemto set the standard for future development and craft anarchitecture that smoothly works with existing infrastructurewithout compromising security.
  • Must identifyand introduce new opportunities to build platformbased solutions tohelp users meet their toughest challenges.
  • Must demonstrate experience identifyingmarketplace plugins and/or designing/developing custom connectorsas needed.
  • Must support DOL to set thelongterm strategy and roadmap for each team s platformstandardization modernization and process/tool adoption.
  • Experience Requirements: Bachelor s degreewith twelve (12) plus years IT developmentexperience.
  • 7 years ofexperience in implementing DevSecOps practice& tools such as Experience building DevSecOps services inIaaS/PaaS/SaaS in Cloud (AWS Azure) environments and a goodunderstanding of their securityconsiderations.
  • 2 years ofExperience with containerization and cloudorchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • 5 of experiencewith CI/CD best practices automated buildsand tests quality gates software quality and CI toolsi.e. Jenkins Ansible Terraformetc.
  • Experience withconfiguration management tools i.e. Git GitHub GitLabBitbucket others.
  • Experiencewith Page 20 of 77 branching strategies gated commitssourcecontrolled management.
  • Experience with the principleof DevSecOps; Atlassian JIRA or otherdefect tracking tool experience; Atlassian ConfluenceGitLab/GitHub Jenkins and artifact repositoryexperience.
  • Experience withsecurity coding standard best practices static and dynamic scanningtools such as SonarQube Fortify Coverity PCLint.
  • Experience with Programming andscripting in a UNIX/Windowsenvironment with scripting languages such as BashShell PowerShell Perl Python Bash Ruby Shell Scripts.
  • Must haveAgile/SAFe and other related developercertifications and or demonstrate equivalentexperience.
