PMD Fitter

• The PMDFitter is responsible for the preventive and routine maintenancerepair and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and machinerywithin the facility.
  
• Thisrole involves conducting regular inspections identifying and fixingmechanical issues and ensuring equipment reliability to supportuninterrupted production.
  
• ThePMD Fitter will also work closely with the maintenance team toensure compliance with safety standards and maintenanceprotocols.
  

RequirementsPreventiveMaintenance: Perform regularpreventive maintenance tasks on equipment including cleaninglubrication adjustments and part replacements to reduce equipmentdowntime.
Troubleshooting& Repair: Diagnose andtroubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment utilizing hand toolspower tools and diagnostic equipment; carry out repairs oradjustments asneeded.
Inspection:Conduct routine inspections to identify worn damaged or faultyparts and proactively address potential issues to avoid unplannedbreakdowns.
EquipmentSetup: Assist in the setupcalibration and alignment of equipment and machinery as required tomeet productionneeds.
Documentation:Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records including details ofrepairs parts used and scheduled maintenanceactivities.
InventoryManagement: Monitor and managespare parts and tools inventory coordinating with the procurementteam to ensure necessary materials are instock.
SafetyCompliance: Adhere to andenforce safety protocols and procedures within the maintenancedepartment; participate in safety meetings and training sessions asrequired.
Collaboration:Work closely with the production and engineering teams to minimizeproduction disruptions and provide technical support for processimprovements.
ContinuousImprovement: Recommend andimplement improvements to maintenance practices machineryperformance and departmentefficiency.
