Great opportunity for Litigation (Senior Manager/AGM) to join a leading real estate developer. Please refer to the below details:


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Drafting Sale agreement, Sale Deed, Tripartite Agreements, and other documents relating to residential immovable properties.
  • Drafting Sale agreement, Sale Deed, Lease Deed, Leave and License Agreement, Letter of Intent, Term Sheets, etc., in respect of commercial office space and commercial retail spaces.
  • Sound knowledge of Joint Development Projects and experience in drafting of Joint Development Agreements, Allocation agreements, General Power of Attorney, Memorandum of Understanding relating to development of immovable properties.
  • Ability to independently understand the commercial transactions relating to purchase of goods and services and draft suitable agreements as per the requirement of internal stake holders.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of commercial disputes, arbitration, disputes before Consumer forum and RERA tribunals.
  • Sound knowledge of title due diligence of immovable property, ability to independently prepare legal opinion and advise solutions to rectifying title defects.
  • Sound knowledge of Karnataka Local laws relating to immovable properties and laws relating to development of immovable properties.
  • Responsible for effective management of litigations by taking strategic steps to mitigate the risks with the help of external counsels in all litigation matters.
  • Responsible for supporting all internal teams in documentation of transactions as and when required.
  • Drafting letters, replies, objections etc., in both Kannada and English language.


Qualifications

  • LLB with 10 to 15 years' experience of which 3 to 5 years professional experience in litigations before Civil Court and High Court.
  • Minimum 5 years in house experience in real estate companies.
  • Good command on English and Kannada language (Reading, writing and speaking)
  • Sound knowledge and experience of commercial disputes, arbitration, disputes before Consumer forum and RERA tribunals.
  • Sound knowledge of title due diligence of immovable property, ability to independently prepare legal opinion and advise solutions to rectifying title defects.
  • Sound knowledge of Karnataka Local laws relating to immovable properties and laws relating to development of immovable properties.
