Leverage advanced analytics to profile key characteristics of successful advisors to inform hiring decisions. Influence decision-making by providing financial or statistical analyses that lead to solutions for advisor risk, making recommendations for action as appropriate. Lead projects from design through implementation and monitoring. Help design and build financial based models and tools for complex risk analysis across the advisor population to help accomplish goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Use modern-day statistical techniques such as survival analysis, Bayesian Analysis, high-dimensional data reduction, mixed models and stochastic processes to conduct life history analytics to profile advisor risk characteristics and outcomes. Identify key traits of successful advisors to improve hiring decisions and ramp-up of advisor production and inform financial and balance sheet reserve assumptions. Identify issues and/or recommend courses of action and mitigation opportunities. Ensure accurate and appropriate report design. Resolve reporting issues as they arise. Provide detailed and complete understanding of drivers that influence advisor performance. Analyze results and identify trends and opportunities by incorporating company and industry knowledge and sound analytical concepts. Identify areas requiring further analysis and deliver deep dive analytics including proactively recommending solutions

Required Qualifications

Engineering or Masters in Statistics/Economics/Econometrics/Decision Sciences/OR/Mathematics from a reputed institute Experience in Analytics can be from 3– 5 Years Python programing expert Good understanding of Predictive modeling Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word Working knowledge in Big Data and Hadoop technologies and infrastructure Strong relationship and communication skills in influencing across multiple business areas on recommendations and analysis results and the ability to clearly articulate complex analytical concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the mathematics and statistics Knowledge and experience in Julia or C++ Understanding of analytic development, testing, and production life cycle. In-depth knowledge of financial services industry with a focus in risk and ability to articulate key concepts to others. Expertise in Visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau will be an advantage.
