About This Team:
Citrix (as part of Cloud Software Group) - the recognized leader in VDI, Desktop-as-a-Service and application delivery solutions enable secure delivery of desktops, applications and SaaS and web apps to more than million endpoints. Citrix Workspace App team is working on secure delivery of virtual apps to any device, anywhere. You are a JS developer, who works on virtualization and Web Domain, works well in a team environment that is customer focused, and is ready to work at a fast but sustainable pace.
Job Description
The position is of a Senior Software Engineer who designs, develops, tests, troubleshoots and debugs complex software applications. You are also expected to design solutions to complex problems involving cross-team collaboration and interaction. You will be involved with planning and prioritization of design and development activities for a wide range of initiatives. You will be encouraged to demonstrate the ability to multitask & work in a fast paced environment, while also mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be working on Citrix Workspace App , Web team leading technical initiatives and delivering product value to our 2M+ user installs You will be working on modernizing Web applications writing cross platform code using the latest technologies. Embrace agile development methodologies (SAFE, Scrum etc.). Strong self-motivation and being able to work in a team environment with limited supervision. Develop, unit-test, performance-test, debug, troubleshoot, maintain software features for our products and services, existing or new. You will be responsible for planning, prioritizing, organizing and performing technical work within the assignment. Engage in continuous learning, both on the job and through available technical training, to develop knowledge and skillsRequired Experience/Skills:
B.Tech or BE degree in Computer Science or IT with minimum of 6+ years hands on dev experience. Strong knowledge of data structure and algorithm and basic networking fundamentals. Proficiency in any Object Oriented Programming Hands on experience in developing enterprise applications using Web technologies - JavaScript, HTML,CSS, React JS Experience writing unit tests and automation tests with Jasmine/Jest/Python/Selenium or similar testing framework Proficiency in SOLID principles, design patterns and SDLC Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, experience in cloud environment development, back-end systems, distributed computing skills on developing applications for scale, security and reliability is a plus. Excellent communication & articulation skills Experience with CI-CD tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc.)About Us:
