About the Role:We are lookingfor a Bulk Merchandiser Womenswear who will be responsible formanaging day to day garment and raw material sourcing andmerchandising efforts in Womens wearcategory.
Rolesandresponsibilities:
  • Createand manage TNA and delivery timelines with buyers raw materialsuppliers vendors andmanufacturers
  • Follow up on orderswith vendors customers and internal parties to ensure customersatisfaction and ontimedelivery
  • Create and maintainstrong business relationships with vendors for product developmentand bulk manufacturing
  • Negotiate with vendorson costs and payment terms and maintain strongSLAs
  • Assist in product development with factorymills. Maintain uptodate mill history andcapability
  • Maintain performance registry ofvendors and constantly seek improvements in timelines quality andcosts
  • Identify problems along the supply chainto understand and develop solutions to brands suppliers andmanufacturers pain points
  • Drive secondaryresearch competitive analysis and sift through data to developsourcingstrategy

KeyRequirements:
  • 6 yearsof experience in sourcing product development and merchandisingroles in large buying house Active wear Sports wear brandmanufacturer or a similar startup
  • Educationbackground NIFT (top 5) or equivalent
  • Deepunderstanding of and existing network in Sports wear Activewear andSleepwear categories
  • Strong business &problem solving acumen; possess an analyticalmind
  • Understanding of product developmentlifecycle and frameworks
  • Open to work in allconditions (client offices or factory floors) and all stakeholders
  • Very strong communication and stakeholdermanagement skills
  • Ability for solutioningthrough dataled interventions and productfirstapproach

  • Previous experiencein fashion apparel manufacturing and supplychain
