Summary

We are hiring Senior DevOps Engineer for our Bangalore office to contribute to our rapid product development. Our engineers work collaboratively to ensure that our products are stable, reliable, scalable and responsive to our customers’ needs.

We are looking for a self-motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to help us transform our platform, reimagine our product orchestration and delivery and use data driven decision-making processes to drive automated and resilient product healing philosophies that create a real and meaningful impact to our client experience.

Senior DevOps Engineer responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues using modern APM tooling. Implementing integrations that align to the product roadmap and reducing operational toil by building commodity services in the cloud. If you have a solid background in AWS CloudFormation, scripting for IaaS, and are familiar with JavaScript or Python, we’d really like to meet you. Ultimately, you will be part of our next generation team that creates our new Hybrid control plane delivery in the cloud that executes and automates operational processes with velocity, resilience, accuracy and securely.

Responsibilities

Implement integrations requested by customers and product roadmap.

Build commodity services to facilitate the deployment of our products and services using service abstraction techniques.

Reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience using a data driven approach.

Develop software to integrate with internal back end systems.

Perform root cause analysis for production errors.

Design procedures for system troubleshooting maintenance and auto-healing.

Develop scripts to automate orchestration and delivery.

You are responsible for protecting the credentials provided to you to access Company (and customer, where applicable) networks, systems, and data

You will adhere to the Company’s Information Security Policy and Procedures and supporting standard operating procedures to protect Company systems and data.

Skills

Work experience as a Sr AWS DevOps infrastructure as code Engineer

AWS Certifications

Expertise with AWS CloudFormation/Terraform

Continuous Integration and delivery pipeline delivery execution.

Software development experience in a product-based company involving the full SDLC using Agile Scrum/Kanban methodologies

Understanding of RESTful and micro services development

Knowledge of APM platforms such as Dynatrace, Datadog, CloudWatch

Good knowledge of JavaScript and/or Python

Expertise in declarative frameworks such as Ansible, Salt, Puppet

Good Kubernetes design and implementation experience

Working knowledge of databases and SQL

Collaborative, analytical problem-solving attitude

Data driven thought processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent. Masters degree is a plus.
