Purpose of Role:


Providing for the design and delivery of technically appropriate solutions to Gentrack customers in projects, adhering to enterprise and application architecture principles for the system being implemented in accordance to the project scope and governance.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Operational
The management of the technical aspects of project delivery to provide effective, analysis, design, programming and testing in the production of large software implementations
Technical architecture and review of solutions proposed by the project delivery teams
Producing architecture and design artefacts as deliverables to the project scope Maintaining and developing “best of breed” implementation and project delivery processes
Maintaining current knowledge of Gentrack business plans, product and future developments
Providing technical and product consulting both internally and externally
Working with customers and other Architects, particularly on larger projects, to define requirements and specifying optimum design for solutions

Leadership
Motivation and support of project delivery teams
Leading and mentoring team members at all levels to promote and develop strong technical expertise and practises across Gentrack’s professional services

Financial
Assist in maintaining and improving staff recovery levels (productivity) on projects

Protecting project budgets by adhering to project scope and ensuring solutions are appropriate and efficient

Sales
Significant input into preparing project proposals as required

Customer Service
Contributing towards long-term business relationships between Gentrack and customers
Promoting Gentrack’s products and solutions to customers and endorsing best practise amongst the Gentrack user group

Compliance
Reviewing solutions for compliance to product architecture and documenting outcomes

Supporting the internal quality and control requirements defined by company policy
To abide to the Compliance Policies and Procedures of the Company.

Occupational H&S
Take reasonable care of your own and other people’s Health & Safety in the workplace.

Report hazards in your work or in your work environment that may be putting your or anyone else’s Health & Safety at risk

Additional Tasks
Is capable and available to handle pressure situations including on-call and out-of-hours incidents
This role entails both domestic and international travel
In addition to this you are required to carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by your Manager

Person Specification: 


Experience / Knowledge
Minimum 8 years’ experience in technical leadership of large implementation projects
Enterprise solutions in software development
SDLC and Project Methodologies
Should have knowledge in BSS domain along with SQL and API exposure.
Industry knowledge in Software and Utilities domain will be add on.
