Overview:The VTBackend role is crucial to our organization as it is responsiblefor developing and maintaining the serverside logic of our virtualtraining platform. The individual in this role will play a key partin ensuring the smooth functioning and optimization of our virtualtraining backend processes.KeyResponsibilities:

• Design and developrobust scalable and secure backend applications usingNodejs.
• Optimize and maintain databasestructures to support platform functionalities andperformance.
• Create and integrate APIs forseamless communication between the frontend and backendsystems.
• Collaborate with frontend developersto integrate userfacing elements with serversidelogic.
• Implement security and data protectionmeasures to safeguard sensitiveinformation.
• Troubleshoot and resolvebackendrelated issues to ensure uninterrupted platformoperations.
• Perform regular system upgrades andoptimizations to enhance platformefficiency.
• Conduct thorough testing anddebugging of backend applications.
• Documentbackend processes workflows and procedures for futurereference.
• Stay updated with the latestindustry trends and best practices in backenddevelopment.

RequiredQualifications:

• Bachelors or Mastersdegree in Computer Science Engineering or a relatedfield.
• Proven experience (e.g. 6) in backenddevelopment using Node.Js.
• Proficiency indatabase management and optimization.
• Strongunderstanding of RESTful APIs and integrationtechniques.
• Experience with version controlsystems such as Git.
• Knowledge of securityprinciples and data protection bestpractices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolvebackend issues efficiently.
• Excellentproblemsolving and analytical skills.
• Goodunderstanding of software developmentlifecycle.
