Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the Corporate IT staff as Lead Developer – ServiceNow to support the enterprise wide IT Strategy. 

 

The role is responsible for overall design, mapping of client business requirements to systems/technical requirements. The role is required to work with clients to assess current state processes and tools, identify ServiceNow platform solution options, define ServiceNow solution requirements, determine and define integration requirements, develop overall architecture and review every production code.

 

Essential Responsibilities

1.    Strong Hands on experience on:

a.    All types of Integrations, ebonding and usage of Integrations Hub

b.    All Client and Server side scripting of ServiceNow

c.     Service Catalog Design, Development and implementation

d.    Service Portal / Employee center development, UI design and  implementation

e.    Service Mapping and availability reporting

f.      CMDB and Discovery implementation, processes and design

g.    Platform Management

2.    Strong hands on architect and designing capabilities. Must be able to independently propose, own the architecture, design solutions and execute proof of concept.

3.    Ability to engage customers and operation teams to resolve root cause issues in a positive, non-adversarial manner.

4.    Work closely with Customers to understand and translate their business and technical requirements, propose solutions to business problems and lead the technical delivery and implementation of the chosen solution.

5.    Fulfils technical design and ensures the highest standard of quality. Demonstrate proven leadership skills, be an independent performer and be able to deliver with minimal or no supervision.

6.    Provides technical design guidance to Carrier and business Stakeholders. Educates clients and negotiates the right technical solutions. Acts as the final escalation point for technical decision-making within a program.

7.    Should be able to work independently and in agile manner.

Education / Certifications

·         ServiceNow Application Developer, Administration and Implementation Specialist Certification

·         ITIL V4 Certification

·         Any standard programming language certification

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or related business discipline(s).  Master’s Degree is a plus
