As a pivotal member of our Software Quality Assurance team, you’ll play a crucial role in automating our testing processes for mobile applications, ensuring that ORBCOMM’s software products meet the highest quality standards. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, design efficient automation frameworks, and perform comprehensive testing. This role provides the perfect blend of hands-on technical work and collaborative problem-solving. Working from our Hyderabad, India office, you'll enjoy the chance to collaborate in-person while also experiencing the flexibility and autonomy of a hybrid work model. 

What You’ll Do: 

Develop, enhance, and maintain automation test cases to align with software specifications and requirements.Work closely with developers, project managers, and network engineers to improve product quality by focusing on defect prevention.Identify solutions for web object identification and maintain high standards for error-free software documentation.Design test scenarios to anticipate potential software issues, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage.Document all testing results, create bug tickets for issues identified, and provide timely updates on critical issues.Conduct API testing with tools like Postman or SoapUI and collaborate on continuous integration (CI) and delivery (CD) using Jenkins, Git, and JIRA.

Who You Are: 
You’re a driven, detail-oriented QA professional ready to take ownership of tasks in a high-performing environment. If you have: 

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Over 5 years of experience in mobile application automation testing (Android & iOS).Proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Appium, etc.).Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, along with strong SQL skills for data validation.Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, plus source control experience (e.g., Git, SVN).Experience in Python, Unix/Linux environments, or satellite/telecommunication fields is a plus
