We are currently seeking a Software Development Senior Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

 

About the role:

 

Note: This role requires to work from an ODC in the NTT DATA Office at Whitefield in Bangalore, Karnataka.

 

As an automation QA, you will be:

Working in a small team to provide QA for agile sprints, execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)

Analyzing business requirements to define test strategy.

Creating and verifying defects in Jira, working with the development team to ensure an efficient resolution.

Executing manual test runs and expanding the TestRail test assets.

Developing and expanding the automated test cases.

Build automated tests to validate and test new features and stories based on the backlog.

Automation framework design and implementation according to project structure.

Creating, enhancing, debugging and running test cases.

Organizing, monitoring defect management process handling changes and conducting regression tests

Provide documentation when required.

Help troubleshoot issues.

Required Skills

  • Programming language: Java (Min self rating of 3.5 on 5)
  • Scripting language: JavaScript
  • Automation: Automation framework design and development using Selenium with Cucumber (BDD) and Webdriver IO
  • Test Management tools: JIRA, TestRail etc
  • Version Control: Proficiency in using version controlling systems like GIT
  • CI/CD: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins
  • Agile methodology
  • Good communication

Other good to have Skills:

  • TestNG, JUnit
  • AEM basic knowledge
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues in the automated testing process.
