Aboutthe Role:We are seeking anexperienced UI Designer with a specialization in Microsoft Dynamics365 Business Central to join our internal IT team at a leadingeducational institution. In this role you will beresponsible for designing and optimizing user interfaces forBusiness Central applications ensuring they are intuitiveuserfriendly and aligned with the institutions operational needs.You will work closely with various departments to understand theirrequirements and create designs that enhance the user experiencefor administrative academic and operationalfunctions.KeyResponsibilities:
  • UIDesign for Business Central: Design and optimizeuser interfaces for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Centralapplications ensuring they are userfriendly visually appealing andaligned with institutionalgoals.
  • User ExperienceEnhancement: Work closely with stakeholdersincluding faculty administration and IT to understand user needsand develop intuitive and effective UI/UX solutions for BusinessCentral.
  • Customization andTheming: Customize Business Central themes and userinterface components to reflect the institution s branding andimprove usability for variousdepartments.
  • Prototyping andMockups: Create wireframes prototypes and mockups tocommunicate design concepts effectively and receive feedback fromstakeholders.
  • Design Standards:Develop and maintain UI/UX design standards andguidelines for Business Central to ensure consistency and bestpractices across allapplications.
  • User Testing andFeedback: Conduct user testing and gather feedbackto improve the user interface continuously and enhance the overalluser experience.
  • Collaboration:Collaborate with developers business analysts andother IT team members to ensure that designs are implementedaccurately andefficiently.
  • Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation forUI/UX designs workflows and designchanges.
  • ContinuousImprovement: Stay updated on the latest UI/UX designtrends tools and technologies particularly within the context ofBusiness Central to continually enhance the userexperience.

Requirements:
  • Experience:7 years of experience in UI/UXdesign with a focus on designing forERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 BusinessCentral.
  • DesignSkills: Strong proficiency in UI/UX design toolssuch as Adobe XD Sketch Figma orsimilar and experience in creating wireframesprototypes and userflows.
  • BusinessCentral Expertise: Proven experience designing userinterfaces for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with a deepunderstanding of its capabilities andlimitations.
  • UserCentricApproach: Strong understanding of usercentereddesign principles and a passion for creating intuitive andaccessible userexperiences.
  • TechnicalUnderstanding: Basic knowledge of HTMLCSS and JavaScript to collaborate with developerseffectively and understand technicalconstraints.
  • Educational SectorKnowledge: Familiarity with the operational needs ofeducational institutions including student management finance andHR systems is aplus.
  • Communication Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillswith the ability to clearly present and explain design concepts tonontechnicalstakeholders.
  • Collaboration:Proven ability to work collaboratively in acrossfunctional teamenvironment.
  • ProblemSolving:Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a focus onimproving the userexperience.
  • Portfolio:A strong portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design workparticularly for ERP systems or similarapplications.
  • Education:Bachelors degree in Graphic Design User ExperienceDesign HumanComputer Interaction or a related field ispreferred.
