Job Summary

If you are an order execution and product engineering professional, Emerson has an exciting role for you We are looking for a Senior Engineer Sustenance Engineering to work with our Pervasive Sensing Team. This role will work independently and as a part of a global engineering team to generate customer approval drawings, bill of material against customer orders thru ERP and PLM activities interface for C Type ball valve products. You will be also working on product technical auditing process and support to generate manufacturing drawing.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: To understand / review engineering technical requirements for C Type ball valves To generate customer approval drawings in Autodesk Inventor 3D package To create and maintain ERP bill of material data To support product auditing process (PED & API) for C Type ball valves thru calculations and readiness of required technical documents To create and Review 3D part & assembly models, 2D manufacturing drawings thru Autodesk Inventor To create manufacturing drawing including dimensional and geometrical tolerances. To establish relationship across functions, locations & global teams to gain information/knowledge and shares with team Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need: Minimum 7 to 10 years' proven experience in sustainable engineering Proficient in engineering CAD preferable Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works and PLM tools preferably Windchill etc.  Sound Experience on ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, BaaN, Odoo etc. Experience with industrial design standards like ASME/ANSI, API, EN etc. and product auditing process like PED, API  Thoroughness in documentation, attention to detail  Good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials used in General mechanical industry and dimensional / geometrical tolerances (GD & T)  Fluent in English (both written and verbal) and effectively communicate with Local, Global & cross-functional teams.  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Bachelor or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering

In addition to basic education - CAD tools like - Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and ERP system certification / experience will be preferred
