Solution Architect - SmartTV / React Framework
Tata Elxsi’s strong domain expertise in Media and Communications, complemented with our experience in delivering vertically industry use cases, enable customers to differentiate and win. We offer integrated services from research and strategy to electronics and mechanical design, software development, validation, and deployment, supported by design studios, global development centers, and offices around the globe. These cover the entire spectrum of the 5G Services, Edge computing services, and subsystems to the connectivity, cloud platform and infrastructure elements.
We are looking for an experienced SmartTV Solution Architect who has 10+ years of experience and ready to take up the below responsibilities.
Job Responsibility:
As the Smart TV Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the technical architecture and design of our Smart TV applications & features solutioning You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, product management, and quality assurance, to ensure that our Smart TV applications are built using best practices, meet technical requirements, and are scalable, secure, and maintainable Your primary objective will be to create robust and efficient technical solutions that align with the company's business objectives Define the technical architecture & design of our Smart TV applications (HLD/LLD/DLD), flow diagrams, including the selection of appropriate technologies, frameworks, APIs & feature solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, product management, and quality assurance, to ensure that technical requirements are understood and incorporated into the application architecture Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to the development team to ensure that code is efficient, scalable, and maintainable Ensure that the Smart TV applications meet technical requirements, including performance, security, and compliance with industry best practices and standards Collaborate with the product management team to ensure that the SmartTV applications align with the company's business objectives Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and APIs, identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications Manage relationships with external partners and vendors involved in SmartTV application development Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, ensuring that team members are trained and capable of delivering high-quality codeQualifications and Education Requirements:
Must Have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field At least 10+ years of experience in Smart TV application development, with at least 3 years in an architect role Strong understanding of Smart TV platform development, including architecture, APIs, and libraries Experience with software design patterns, such as MVVM and Clean Architecture Experience with agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions Experience leading and mentoring development teams Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform Understanding of software design principles and UX best practices Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable Smart TV applications Good understanding of focus management on TV (building custom libraries for focus or any third-party libraries) Experience or knowledge in generating and developing builds for different flavors of smart TVs like LG, Tizen, Hisense, Netrange, Zeasn, Samsung, Vidaa, Whale OSCertifications:
TOGAF enterprise architect certification is preferred Any project management certification is preferred.Preferred Skills & Domain
Experience in working for any Media, Telecom, Communications, broadcast & OTT domainsJob location:- Bangalore / Trivandrum / Chennai
