Head Teacher-Preschool

MainResponsibilities:
- Maintains requiredreports and records for every child in theclass
- Ensures that resources are utilizedeffectively and works towards minimizingwastage
- Play a key role in enhancing the appealof the center/class with appropriate displays learning resourcesand fun and enriching activities
- Is wellversedwith the school policies and ensures that the school policies areadhered to at all times
- Ensures that regularand relevant communication is sent out toparents
- Ensures that the class is fun andenriching for children by thinking out of the box while planningactivities and sessions.
- Ensures that thelesson plans and activities are planned inadvance
- Ensures that the lesson Plan (postapproval from the Curriculum team) is implemented and keepschildren constructively occupied at all times throughout theday
- Ensures that observations and assessmentsof children are carried out regularly
- Ideatingplanning and executing events trips celebrations etc. along withcolleagues as per the Events Calendar
- Ensuresthe safety health hygiene and security of the child along with theother teaching and nonteaching staff.
- Guidingassistant teachers and support staff and giving them feedback asrequired.
- Notifying the center head of anyareas of concern.
- Interacting with parents todiscuss child progress and other needs during PTCs and on a needbasisIndividual
- Iscalm and composed at all times and a good team player Demonstratesprofessional behavior while interacting with team members andparents.
- Acting as a guide to colleagues intimes of doubt and helping them make appropriate decisions andactions.
- Setting an example and showingcolleagues how to do things more effectively andefficiently.
- Ability to manage time resourcesand stress effectively.
- Serve as a role modelto children and staff in terms of punctuality respectresponsibility
- Enthusiastic takes Initiativeand displays Ownership AdditionalSkills
- Knowledge of early child developmentmilestones and childrelated concepts andpractices
- Basic Computer skills including MSOffice suite of MS Word MS Excel MSPowerPoint
- Good Communication &presentation skills both oral and written esp. reportwriting
- Being good in Creative work andStorytellingskill.
