Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrateexcellent knowledge and mastery of Indian Cuisine ensuring theauthenticity quality and variety of dishesserved.
  • Superviseand direct the food preparation process and related activities tomaintain efficiency and qualitystandards.
  • Createinnovative menus incorporating both new and existing culinarycreations while ensuring consistency and customersatisfaction.
  • Inspectand refine dishes before serving to ensure they meet qualitystandards and customerexpectations.
  • Planand manage inventory including ordering equipment and ingredientsas needed to preventshortages.
  • Coordinatemaintenance and repairs of kitchen equipment ensuring a safe andfunctional workingenvironment.
  • Overseestaff hiring scheduling and training maintaining adequate staffinglevels to meet operationalneeds.
  • Ensurecompliance with company recipes standard operating procedures(SOPs) and sanitationregulations.
  • Reportto the Executive Chef New Store Opening & General ManagerOperations providing updates on kitchen operations andperformance.
  • Resolvecustomer complaints and concerns with professionalism and diplomacystriving to deliver the best diningexperience.
  • Provideleadership and guidance to kitchen staff fostering a cooperativeand respectful workenvironment.
  • Maintainaccurate records of payroll attendance purchase orders and stockreconciliation.
  • Ensurecompliance with nutrition sanitation and safety standards to upholdthe highest standards of food quality andsafety.
  • Manageinventory control in the outlet optimizing resources and minimizingwaste.
  • Delegateresponsibilities effectively and monitor progress to ensure tasksare completedefficiently.


Requirements
  • Provenexperience as a Head Chef with a minimum of 5 years in a similarrole.
  • Exceptionalability in kitchen management including menu planning staffsupervision and inventorycontrol.
  • Strongcommunication and leadership skills with the ability to motivateand inspire ateam.
  • Uptodateknowledge of culinary trends and best practices with a focus onoptimizing kitchenprocesses.
  • Proficiencyin computer programs such as MS Office restaurant managementsoftware and POSsystems.
  • Degreein Culinary Science or a related certificate ispreferred.
