We are seeking a bright and dynamic individual with robust System IT skills to join the talented team of engineers here at DigiValet

What you'll do in this role:

  • Assists in providing day-to-day operational support for server, storage or network infrastructures.
  • Assist in deploying new upgrades, updates, patches, and builds of different Operating Systems, Applications, etc.
  • Assist with storage and server data backup, data migration and disaster recovery operations.
  • Track system licensing.
  • Assists with configuring security settings or access permissions for groups and individuals.
  • Provides technical support (help desk) to users by troubleshooting problems related to network or platform performance.
  • Documentation of troubleshooting procedure for new issues encountered while managing WiFi, Network, Servers, Desktops etc

 

Required Skills:

  • Installing, configuring and troubleshooting in at least two of the three OS environments: Windows OS, Linux OS, and MAC OS.
  • Installation, configuration & basic troubleshooting of Desktops, Laptops, Printer Hardware & Software. 
  • Installation, configuration & administration of Email Clients, MS Office, Backup Applications, Tally/ERP.
  • Network: Manage Switches/OSI network layers, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and VLANs.
  • WiFi configuration & troubleshooting, WiFi infrastructure. 
  • Management & Administration of Firewall.
  • Experience 2-5 Years 
  • Qualification: Graduate in any field, PGDCA or hardware networking course.
  • Certifications: CCNA, RHCE, MCSE

 

Knowledge & exposure of the following will be an added advantage: 

  • Virtualisation and Containerisation (e.g.Docker, VMware, Virtual Box)
  • Monitoring systems, and performance fine-tuning.
