Oracle Application DBA (R12.112.2) experience is required. Data Guard setupand configuration troubleshooting Knowledge Experience in Database Upgrade such as 18C/19C Upgrade. Experience on EBS application upgrade to12.2.X
knowledge in EM related tasks such as DBdiscovery agent installation is required Must performed New Database Build along with EBS application setup. Experience in Database and applicationMigration Experience in setting up externalnode along with reverse proxy setup. BasicUnix/Linux knowledge is required Good tohave shell / pearl scripting knowledge Goodto have experience on Oracle Exadata PCA etc Good to have experience on Ansible PuppetTerraform Experience in monitoring andtroubleshooting DR support activities Participate on yearly DR drill for EBS EBSapplication and database platform migration.

Overview:TheOracle Apps DBA/ERP Admin plays a crucial role in managing andmaintaining the Oracle EBusiness Suite and associated applicationsto ensure seamless functionality for the organization. They areresponsible for the administration configuration and support ofOracle Applications and associated technologies contributing to theoverall performance and reliability of the ERPsystems.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Install configureand maintain Oracle EBusiness Suite applications and associatedtechnologies.
  • Monitor system performance andconduct performance tuning activities to optimize the ERPsystem.
  • Implement and manage backup andrecovery strategies to ensure data integrity andavailability.
  • Participate in the planning andexecution of system upgrades patches andenhancements.
  • Provide technical support andtroubleshooting for Oracle Applications and databaserelatedissues.
  • Develop and maintain documentationrelated to system configuration processes andprocedures.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the ERPsystem.
  • Manage user access security andpermissions within the Oracle Applicationsenvironment.
  • Participate in the design andimplementation of solutions to meet businessrequirements.
  • Conduct regular system audits toensure compliance with best practices and securitystandards.
  • Participate in oncall support andincident management activities asneeded.
  • Contribute to the evaluation andrecommendation of new technologies and tools to enhance ERPfunctionality.
  • Stay updated with the latestdevelopments in Oracle technologies and bestpractices.
  • Provide training and guidance to endusers and fellow team members.
  • Collaborate withvendor support and other IT staff to resolve technicalissues.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors or Mastersdegree in Computer Science Information Technology or a relatedfield.
  • 3 years of experience as an Oracle AppsDBA or ERP Administrator.
  • Proficiency in OracleEBusiness Suite R12 and 11i administration andmaintenance.
  • Strong understanding of Oracledatabase architecture SQL andPL/SQL.
  • Experience with Oracle ApplicationServer WebLogic Server and FusionMiddleware.
  • Indepth knowledge of OracleEnterprise Manager and performance tuningtools.
  • Experience in Linux/UNIX systemadministration related to OracleApplications.
  • Solid understanding of backup andrecovery methodologies for OracleApplications.
  • Ability to work effectively in ateam environment and communicate technical conceptsclearly.
  • Certifications such as OracleCertified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Expert (OCE) arepreferred.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills andthe ability to prioritize and manage multipletasks.
  • Strong analytical and organizationalskills with attention to detail.
  • Experiencewith version control systems and deployment tools is aplus.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and bestpractices is desirable.
  • Ability to adapt tochanging technologies and learn new skills asneeded.
