  • Edit andrefine raw footage into highquality video content that aligns withthe creative vision and objectives of eachproject.
  • Collaborateclosely with producers directors and other team members tounderstand project requirements and deliver compellingstorytellingexperiences.
  • Utilizeindustrystandard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro FinalCut Pro or Avid Media Composer to achieve desiredresultsefficiently.
  • Integratevisual effects graphics and sound elements to enhance the overallproduction value and audienceengagement.
  • Managemultiple projects concurrently ensuring deadlines are met whilemaintaining high standards of quality andcreativity.
  • Pursuefurther education through relevant courses workshops orselfdirected learning to stay updated on industrytrends and emergingtechnologies.
  • Serve as amentor to student interns or junior team members providing guidancefeedback and support to help them grow as creativeprofessionals.
  • Balanceworkload effectively between editing responsibilities academicpursuits and mentorship duties demonstrating strongtime management and prioritizationskills.


Requirements
  • Minimum5 years of professional experience as a video editor in the mentionrelevant industry e.g. film television advertisingetc..
  • Proficiency invideo editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro orAvid MediaComposer.
  • Strongunderstanding of video production processes including shootingtechniques lighting and audiorecording.
  • Exceptionalstorytelling abilities and a keen eye for detail demonstratedthrough a diverse portfolio of editingprojects.
  • Ability tocollaborate effectively in a fastpaced environment taking directionfrom team members while also contributing creativeideas andsolutions.
  • Excellentcommunication skills both written and verbal with the ability toprovide constructive feedback and mentorship toothers.
  • Commitment tocontinuous learning and professional development with a desire topursue further education while balancing workresponsibilities.
Experiencewith motion graphics and visual effects software such as AdobeAfterEffects.
Familiarity with color grading techniques and software such asDaVinci Resolve.Prior experience mentoring or teaching students in a professionalor educationalsetting.
