This is a remote position.

We are seeking a Sr. SoftwareEngineer (Java) to join our team.
  • Design develop testand deploy scalable software solutions that align with business andtechnicalrequirements.
  • Lead and participatein formal work sessions and present technical analysis tostakeholders.
  • Collaborate withbusiness stakeholders and subject matter experts to definerequirements and translate them into technicalspecifications.
  • Ensure the quality ofcode through continuous testing automated test scripts and peercodereviews.
  • Develop comprehensivedocumentation and technical reports for keystakeholders.
  • Utilize MicrosoftO365 (Word Excel PowerPoint Visio) for documentation andpresentations.
  • Collaborateeffectively with large teams using MS Teams and other communicationtools.
  • Work within Agileframeworks (Scrum) and utilize project management tools like Jirato manage developmentcycles.
  • Bonus:Experience working with PeopleSoft HCM or security administrationis aplus.


Requirements
  • 8yearsofexperience as a Software Engineer or in a similarrole.
  • Proven experience insoftware development testing and qualityassurance.
  • Strong expertise incoding languages such as Java Python C# orsimilar.
  • Proficiency in webtechnologies like HTML CSS JavaScript and frameworks such as ReactorAngular.
  • Experience with cloudtechnologies such as AWS Azure or GoogleCloud.
  • Strong understandingof data structures algorithms and software designpatterns.
  • Experience inidentifying requirements and creating formal documentation forbusiness stakeholders andSMEs.
  • Experience conductingformal work sessions and presenting technicalanalysis.
  • Expertise in usingMicrosoft O365 applications (Word Excel PowerPointVisio).
  • Experience with MSTeams for communication within largeteams.

PreferredQualification:

  • Experienceworking with public sector organizations (Federal State or LocalGovernment).
  • Experience withcloudbased DevOps tools and continuous integration/continuousdelivery (CI/CD)pipelines.
  • Familiarity withcontainerization technologies like Docker andKubernetes.
  • Experience withSharePoint andJira.
  • Experience workingwithin the Scrum framework for Agiledevelopment.
