JOB DESCRIPTION

The role will deliver IT related projects on time and within budget across all Vontier IT services. In this role the project manager will be located at the Bangalore office and will lead IT related projects from initial idea through to completion. In addition, the project manager will also be required to manage the project team. Duties will include, but not be limited to coordinating all aspects of a project, delegating tasks to team members, ensuring targets are met, and reporting to senior management and other stakeholders.
The project manager will report directly to the IT Service Delivery Director, AsiaPac. The project manager will liaise extensively with the APAC service delivery director to ensure that projects are on track and any blockers are addressed in a timely manner so that project delivery in not impacted.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Comprehensive or general knowledge of IT infrastructure, on prem. and cloud based (both Azure and AWS) services, Wan, LAN, Dt & LT devices, and peripherals.
• Will be familiar with and have used Jira as a project management tool.
• Project management, and project management reporting. 
• Strong collaboration skills with an ability to foster consensus among a diverse team. 
• Ability to work autonomously and/or in group settings.
• Ability to show motivation and initiative to carry projects and tasks to fruition. 
• Ability to drive and manage vendor support relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on critical thinking and problem-solving. 
• Must have a positive attitude and be solution oriented. 
• Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change quickly. 
• Supervising and leading IT projects.
• Managing the project team and delegating tasks.
• Ensuring project milestones are met.
• Conducting team and planning meetings.
• Liaising with executives and other departments and providing reports on project progress as required.
• Ensuring project timeline and budget are adhered to.
• Managing project documentation.

WHO YOU ARE

Required:
• Degree in Computer related topic or equivalent work experience. 
• 3+ years’ experience as an IT professional or IT related Project Manager.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work under pressure and work on multiple campaigns at the same time.
• Proven project management skills.
Preferred:
• Professional project management certifications. 
• Comprehensive knowledge of Jira.
• Project based reporting.
