Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - QE Performance Engineer

Lead Consultant specializing in Performance Testing, you will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of our software applications under various workload conditions. You will lead performance testing initiatives, providing expert guidance and support to clients in optimizing their software performance. Your role will involve analyzing system requirements, designing, and executing performance test plans, identifying performance bottlenecks, and recommending solutions to improve system performance.

Responsibilities 

• Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar. 
• Experience in analyzing system performance metrics and identifying performance bottlenecks. 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
 
Qualifications we seek in you 
Minimum Qualifications 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 
• Proven experience in performance testing and analysis, with a strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices. 
• Valid years of experience with programming using C#/Java/Python
• Strong working knowledge in JMeter or Locust or Gatling (JMeter preferred)
• Years of experience in enterprise application testing (test case development and execution) preferably Insurance domain.
• Experience with both White Box and Black Box Testing
• Experience working with APIs, thick and thin client transactions (Postman).
• Experience working with APM tools like Datadog or Dynatrace
• Experience working with deployments, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps)
• Good knowledge in Cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS), Containers (Docker)
• Experience in Debugging tools like Network Sniffer, Wireshark and Fiddler
• Experience in building, executing, and analyzing performance test scripts with JMeter or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 
• Experience in Strong background in functional testing with the ability to design and develop comprehensive Performance test strategy and test cases.
• Strong background in reviewing business and functional requirements in order to produce a test strategy and test cases.
• Working experience working in Azure, SQL environments
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving, technical, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills
