Fixed Asset Accountant

Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate and timely recording of acquisitions, disposals, and transfers. Conduct regular physical inventories of fixed assets and reconcile with the fixed asset register. Prepare and post journal entries related to fixed assets, including depreciation, impairments, and revaluations. Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness of fixed asset-related disclosures. Develop and maintain internal controls related to fixed asset accounting and ensure adherence to company policies. Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations. Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Support various finance and accounting projects as needed. Who you are and what you bring: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in fixed asset accounting, preferably in a multinational corporation. Semi qualified CA (Preferred) / Qualified CA (Optional) / MBA Finance (Optional). Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and deliver results in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines and able to respond effectively to changing priorities. Strong oral and written communication skills with cooperative, interdisciplinary approach. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and standard accounting processes and controls. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Working experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus.
