Overview:The LoanCollection Executive plays a critical role in the organization bymanaging a portfolio of delinquent accounts and facilitating therecovery of outstanding loan balances. This position is essentialfor maintaining the financial health of the company by minimizingbad debts and ensuring timely repayment fromborrowers.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Initiate contactwith delinquent borrowers to negotiate repaymentstrategies.
  • Monitor and manage overdue accountsto minimize financial losses.
  • Assess borrowersfinancial situations to determine the root cause ofdelinquency.
  • Implement effective collectiontechniques including phone calls and emails to recover outstandingpayments.
  • Document all collection activitiesand maintain accurate records of interactions withborrowers.
  • Collaborate with legal andcompliance teams to handle escalated delinquentaccounts.
  • Develop and maintain relationshipswith borrowers to encourage timelypayments.
  • Provide regular updates on the statusof delinquent accounts to management.
  • Analyzedelinquency trends and propose strategies to improve collectionefficiency.
  • Address customer inquiries andresolve any issues related to outstandingpayments.
  • Adhere to regulatory guidelines andcompany policies during the collectionprocess.
  • Prepare reports on collectionactivities and account statuses for internalreview.
  • Participate in training and developmentprograms to enhance collection skills andknowledge.
  • Contribute to the continuousimprovement of collection processes andprocedures.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inFinance Business Administration or a relatedfield.
  • Prior experience in loan collectionfinancial services or a similar role.
  • Strongknowledge of collection laws regulations and bestpractices.
  • Excellent negotiation andcommunication skills to interact with delinquent borrowersprofessionally.
  • Ability to assess credit riskand evaluate borrowers financialcircumstances.
  • Proven track record of meetingcollection targets and reducing delinquencyrates.
  • Proficiency in using collection softwareand CRM systems for accountmanagement.
  • Detailoriented with strongorganizational and time managementabilities.
  • Sound decisionmaking skills toevaluate repayment proposals and resolvedisputes.
  • Customercentric mindset with a focuson delivering exceptional service toborrowers.
  • Ability to work effectively in afastpaced and targetdrivenenvironment.
  • Familiarity with credit reportingand scoring processes.
  • Team player with theflexibility to adapt to changing priorities andrequirements.
