Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience | Full-Time | Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 years of experience as an Interior Draftsman or in a similar role
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software
• Strong understanding of 2D drafting and designing principles
• Knowledge of interior design concepts, materials, and finishes
• Familiarity with UPVC windows and door design
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings and plans for interior design projects using AutoCAD and other drafting software
• Assist in space planning and layout design to optimize the functionality and aesthetics of the interior spaces
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other professionals to develop design concepts and specifications
• Prepare technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from the design team and clients
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation of the design
• Stay up-to-date with current industry trends, materials, and technologies related to interior design and drafting
• Maintain organized records of drawings, specifications, and project files
