Order Fulfillment and Supply Chain (OFS) includes Agilent’s global Manufacturing, Logistics, Direct Procurement, Workplace Services, and the key functions supporting them. The OFS Learning & Development (L&D) Lead will build upon existing L&D capabilities in Agilent and OFS to create and deliver our next-level vision for learning and development across OFS Globally. The OFS L&D Lead is a role for a hands-on individual with the ability to think strategically and act locally with a value-driven mindset driving quantifiable near-term results. This cross-functional role requires developing and managing a strong set of relationships and collaborations across OFS, Agilent, and reaching outside to key partners in the L&D field and academia.
In this role, you will partner with leaders across OFS Functions and Sites, Agilent L&D Colleagues, and External experts in Supply Chain, Learning, and People Development to manage the OFS Strategy for providing our staff the environment, tools, and opportunity to grow the skills to advance their careers in alignment with the OFS Strategy. Additionally, you will provide hands-on support in developing our learning curricula, building and deploying learning assets, and providing the reporting required to understand the effectiveness of our learning programs.
This role reports into the Associate Vice President of OFS Strategy & Transformation.
Responsibilities
OFS Learning & Development Strategy and Roadmap:
Collaborate with OFS leaders to align on strategic learning objectives and targets for the organization Identify leading practices and capabilities among Agilent partners and peer companies Develop strategy and roadmap for advancing OFS L&D capabilities over 3-5 years Develop and deploy the processes, tools, and skillsets across the organization to realize the roadmapOFS Learning & Development Curriculum Management:
Translate the OFS Strategy into a set of development pathways and curricula Collaborate with OFS leaders to prioritize and plan development of learning assets Partner with internal and external resources to build, deliver, and maintain learning programs Manage timelines, tools, and resources through matrixed delivery teams Develop and maintain required reports and dashboards to monitor program effectivenessOFS Strategic Program Execution:
Partner with OFS leaders to organize, prioritize, and drive the development and delivery of learning content directly related to the value delivery initiatives in the OFS Strategic Initiative portfolio Advise, monitor, and mentor training leads in OFS functions and projects As appropriate, take on direct leadership for strategic initiatives focused on L&DCritical Capabilities
Uses advanced concepts and theories to lead development of high impact and/or long-range strategic projects and initiatives Consults with senior leadership to design, develop, implement, and maintain innovative programs, systems and concepts that have company-wide and/or external impact Acts independently to identify, assess, and provide solutions to wide range of business or multi-functional challenges Effectively operates with limited support in a highly matrixed organization; solutions reviewed as needed by senior leadership and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in with long-term goals Solves unique and highly complex problems that have a broad impact. Applies new theories or concepts to influence or develop tactical or operational plans to support organizational strategy Consultant to senior management across organizations on complex issues and future direction Manages project or program resources; high tolerance for ambiguity to support multiple concurrent projects and activities Effective communicator of both written and verbal information at all levels of management and across diverse global cross-functional teams Acts as primary company contact, negotiator, and spokesperson to external/industry representatives in specialized area of responsibility Working knowledge of L&D tools including Articulate, Sharepoint, and Successfactors is required to develop content and connect with Agilent corporate LMS infrastructure
Qualifications
