Role Designation: Associate Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

Develop Electrical service drawings using MicroStation in P wise CDE in accordance with Drawing Management Standards (DMS) and relevant specifications and codes of practice. Develop lighting layouts and carryout lighting designs/ calculations using Dialux/ Dialux Evo software. Develop schematic drawings referring to the design reports generated from Amtech/Electrical OM software’s. Shall coordinate among various disciplines (in UK) with minimal engineer support to ensure there are no clashes in the designs and run clash detection processes in Navisworks or Bentley Navigator Shall ensure the deliverables undergo formal QA-QC processes.

Mandatory Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in - Electrical services Modelling using MicroStation with knowledge in 2D/ 3D modelling. Experience in working within the Common Data Environment – P wise is essential. Proficient in working on multi-disciplinary projects, conducting coordination among various disciplines. Ability to read and interpret survey photos, record engineering drawings and specifications and develop the drawings. Experience in designing of LV power distribution, small power, lighting and earthing and bonding. Proficient in using Amtech, Dialux and Dialux evo software. Familiarity or experience with running clash detection processes in Navisworks or Bentley Navigator, and capable of acting as an information manager. Proficient in written and verbal communication in English. Experienced in QA-QC processes, ensuring project delivery within agreed deadlines and maintaining quality standards. Experience in computer software such as MS-Excel, MS-Word and MS-Outlook. Ability to work effectively with colleagues, seniors, team members and clients.

Desirable Requirements:

Experience in UK Rail industry in stations/line side-points heating and signaling power supply designs. Basic understanding in BS, EURO codes as well as UK CAD/BIM standards. Willing to learn new tools as per the project’s requirement and be aware of updates in BIM world.
