Overview:The AzureData Engineer plays a crucial role in designing building andmaintaining scalable data pipelines and data solutions using Azuredata services. This role is essential in ensuring efficient datastorage processing and analysis enabling the organization to derivevaluable insights and make datadrivendecisions.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Designing andimplementing scalable data solutions on Azureplatform
  • Developing and maintaining ETLprocesses and data pipelines
  • Performing datamodeling and database design
  • Building andmaintaining data warehouses and datalakes
  • Developing and optimizing SQL queries andstored procedures
  • Implementing data integrationsolutions
  • Ensuring data security andcompliance
  • Monitoring troubleshooting andoptimizing data processes andworkflows
  • Collaborating with crossfunctionalteams to gather and analyze datarequirements
  • Documenting data architectureprocesses and best practices
  • Participating inthe evaluation and implementation of new datatechnologies
  • Providing technical guidance andsupport to stakeholders
  • Creating datavisualizations and reports
  • Conductingperformance tuning and optimization of datasolutions
  • Assisting in data migration andsystem upgrades
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors or Mastersdegree in Computer Science Engineering or relatedfield
  • Proven experience in designingimplementing and maintaining data solutions on Azureplatform
  • Expertise in ETL development usingAzure Data Factory or similar tools
  • Strongknowledge of data modelling database design and data warehousingconcepts
  • Proficiency in SQL Python and dataintegration techniques
  • Handson experience withAzure Data Lake Azure SQL Database and Azure AnalysisServices
  • Experience in data visualization toolssuch as Power BI or Tableau
  • Understanding ofdata security compliance and governanceprinciples
  • Strong problemsolving and analyticalskills
  • Excellent communication and teamworkabilities
  • Certifications in Azure DataEngineering or related domains (e.g. DP200 DP201) is aplus
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies andcontinuous learning mindset
  • Experience in Agilemethodologies and DevOps practices
  • Goodunderstanding of cloud computing and serverlessarchitectures
