Management Trainee – US Domestic and Global Trades – Wealth Operations

The role will be primarily responsible for Trade support, settlement and processing for US Domestic and Global Trades with sound understanding of trade lifecycle from custody to broker to client. This involves loading, matching and settling trade activities following up with custodians, brokers and clients to resolve unmatched trades and handling claims from counterparties.

Responsibilities:

Relevant experience in US Domestic & Global trades and settlement process. Strong understanding of financial products like Bonds, Mutual Funds, Derivatives, Equities, MBS etc. Good knowledge on end-to-end clearing and settlement process for US Domestic & Global Trades Hands on experience on supports interfaces with different internal and external stakeholders (front office, clients, brokers, nostro agents, exchanges and clearing houses) involved in the clearing and settlement process. Basic knowledge around audits (internal and external) and understanding around Risk and Control framework. Good communication skill required to establish strong relationship with onshore counterparts and should be capable of handling Onshore Queries. Working closely with the team to identify process needs and opportunities for improving controls in processes. Candidate will be responsible for review of multiple processes and will also be responsible for creating and maintaining process level documents like SOP. Consistently meet or exceed target goals for SLA parameters of TAT, productivity, quality, etc.
