The APIGEE Infra Admin plays a crucial rolein managing the APIGEE infrastructure ensuring its stabilitysecurity and performance. This position is essential in supportingthe organizations API platform and ensuring smooth operations fordevelopers partners and customers.KeyResponsibilities
  • Install configureand maintain the APIGEE infrastructure
  • Monitorthe performance and security of the APIGEEplatform
  • Manage access control and permissionswithin the APIGEE environment
  • Comprehensiveknowledge of Apigee OPDK infrastructure components and setupprocedures.
  • Proficiency in AWS services such asEKS EC2 S3 ALB NLB EBS volumes and AMIrecycling.
  • Extensive experience in Linuxadministration.
  • Expertise in creating andmanaging services within AWS EKS including pod deployments andvulnerability management.
  • Demonstrated skill inbuilding and deploying containerized applications usingDocker/containerd within the EKS platform at an enterpriselevel.
  • Proficient in orchestratingcontainerized applications with Kubernetes with a focus ondeployment scaling and maintenance within a microservicesarchitecture.
  • Exposure to Apigee Hybrid with afoundational understanding of GCP.
  • Familiaritywith components such as RMP Cassandra Zookeeper Postgres andQPid.
  • Excellent communication skills includingregular engagement with onshoreteams.
  • Proficiency in Ansible scripting forinfrastructure automation.
  • Collaborate withdevelopment teams to ensure seamless integration ofAPIs
  • Troubleshoot and resolveinfrastructurerelated issues
  • Implement backupand recovery processes for the APIGEEplatform
  • Provide technical support to internaland external stakeholders
  • Documentinfrastructure configurations andprocesses
  • Stay updated with APIGEE bestpractices and implement improvements
  • Ensurecompliance with security and regulatorystandards
RequiredQualifications
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science or relevant field
  • Provenexperience as an APIGEE administrator
  • Strongunderstanding of API management and gatewayconcepts
  • Proficiency in Python scripting isadvantageous.
  • Certifications in GCP arebeneficial.
  • Experience with realtimeapplication infrastructure debugging using GitOps frameworks likeFlux and Helm.
  • Basic knowledge of Java codingis a plus.
  • Proficiency in infrastructuremanagement and configuration
  • Knowledge of cloudplatforms and containerizationtechnologies
  • Experience with scriptinglanguages (e.g. Python Bash)
  • Excellenttroubleshooting and problemsolvingskills
  • Ability to communicate effectively andwork in a team environment
  • Certifications inAPIGEE or relevant technologies is a plus
  • Goodunderstanding of networking and securityconcepts
  • Previous experience in a DevOpsenvironment isadvantageous
