Roleand Responsibilities: 7 to 8 years of handsexperience in software/IT quality experience in a fastpacedenvironmentworking through all phases of thesoftware development life cycle with focus onFrontand backoffice applications webbasedapplications. 2 to 3 years of automationtesting experience defining building and overseeingtheimplementation of a proven automationtest strategy. Experience creatingthoroughly documented test strategy/test plans test scenarios andtestcases and executing uponthem. Experience collaborating with projectmanagers developers and business systems analyststoensure quality throughout a projectrelease cycle. Work in a highenergyfastpaced collaborative environment and be selfmotivatedandpassionate aboutQA. Demonstrate a collaborative attitude anda strong desire to strive for testing standardsandefficiencies.Experience in testing of Fintech Domain will bepreferred. Lead the testing team in planningexecuting and reporting each test cycle.Conduct functional and nonfunctional systemstesting. Report defects clearly explainingthe test cases and test scenarios to the developmentteam. Provide support to the developmentteam to understand the defect data used for testingandsupport the development team in rootcause analysis. Prepare &publish software testing metrics and reports covering defect countsstatus ofdefects ageing of defects defectper module etc. Ensure 100% of functionaland nonfunctional systems test cases. Ensurethat all application interfaces and NFR items aretested.
TechnicalSkills: Ability to write SQLcode and understanding of relationaldatabases. Technical expertise in TestingMethodologies Testing Processes Tools andTechniques. Hands on experience managing bugreporting and test status tracking usingtestingtools Jira.Proven experience in working with both with Kanban and/or Agile andWaterfalldeliverymethodologies.
SoftSkills: Team work andcollaboration with internal / external teamsEffective communication skills (listening expressingwriting) Critical thinking attention todetail (keen eye for identifying and resolvingdefects) Creativity and problemsolving.
Salarygoes upto 14LPA
