Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vendor Manager for Cold Chain Logistics to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with our contracted logistics vendors, ensuring the smooth execution of logistics operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Vendor Manager will play a pivotal role in optimizing vendor performance, negotiating contracts, and fostering strategic partnerships to enhance our service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vendor Relationship Management:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with contracted logistics vendors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to vendors to ensure alignment with company standards and objectives.
2. Contract Negotiation and Management:
• Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing for logistics services.
• Review contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Monitor contract performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
3. Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure vendor performance.
• Analyze performance data and identify trends, deviations, and areas for improvement.
• Implement corrective actions and initiatives to address performance gaps and optimize logistics operations.
4. Continuous Improvement and Expansion
• Collaborate with vendors to identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Expansion to new cities and develop vendor base to support in the new cities.
5. Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure vendor compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with vendor relationships and logistics operations.
• Implement robust contingency plans to address disruptions and minimize business impact.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and logistics management software.
• Relevant certifications (., Certified Supply Chain Professional, Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity) are a plus.
