Ability to define clear processcontrols and documentation for a robust
process.
• Expertise in dealing with FA andcharacterization on finishing defects is
preferred.
• Ability to use advanced analyticaltools to characterize surface topography
and materialcharacteristics.
• Solid understanding of DOEprinciples and use of statistical software.
•Experience with other chemical metal surface treatments forcorrosion
protection including conversioncoating.
• History of successfully implementingnew processes (possibly automation) in
a mass productionenvironment.
• Investigate and validate newsurface finishing processes techniques and
equipmentwhere appropriate.
• Lead develop and grow adiversely skilled engineering team
• Drivestandardization of engineering processes analytical problemsolving
failure analysis and correctiveactions
• Collaborate with operations qualityand other process and design teams to
integratelearnings across the line into a scalable product
• Lead the development of cleaning and surface finishingprocesses (including
but not limited to processes likeultrasonic cleaning sand blasting surface
treatmentetc)
• Champion the strong use of statisticaltools (like JMP and Minitab) to analyse
process data& lead systematic DMAIC approach for processimprovement
• Work closely with subtier Designsfor Manufacturing (DFMs) impacting
process design anddevelopment fixtures and jigs
• Routinelyinteract with customer to present process findings dataand
analysis; recommend process improvements and ideasfor improving yields
and processconsistency
