RolePurpose

Weare seeking a creative and selfmotivated Technical Lead withconsiderable exposure to multiple technologies and platforms andwho is keen to join a multicultural software company. Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for designing writingmaintaining and testing code. Additionally they will lead monitormentor and allocate development tasks to developers trackingprogress and reporting upwards. They will contribute towardsproject quality processes project wide design patterns and act as aconduit between onshore and offshore resources ensuringrequirements are understood and communicated software quality ishigh and deadlines are met.

Ingeneral travel to the UK / Australia could be one visit every 2years. This can be at short notice and this frequency is notguaranteed as all travel is based on a clear business or projectrequirement. A passport isessential.

PrincipalAccountabilities

  • KeyResponsibilities andDuties:
  • Createmidlevel design and produce clear and concise documentation. Takeresponsibility for that design and ensure that all work on theproject conforms toit.
  • Contributeto technical discussions around the fulfilment ofrequirements.
  • Contributeto technical qualityprocesses.
  • Conformto Clients Secure Software Development Lifecycle implementingsecurity bestpractice.
  • Provideaccurate effort estimates for your own work and work delegated toothers.
  • Contributeto planning and prioritisation ofwork.
  • Monitorand report on progress of work delegated toothers.
  • Developand maintain code to a highstandard.
  • Writehigh performing code and databasequeries.
  • Assessthe most appropriate technology to meet the requirements in anefficientmanner.
  • Identifythe most appropriate design pattern to develop components whichalso meets the requirements for Testdrivendevelopment.
  • Identifyingand promoting use of static code analysis tools within team toachieve high standardcode.
  • Communicateand/or present concepts and ideas to otherstakeholders.
  • Mentorjunior teammembers.
  • Workwithin timescales and costs set by the ProjectManager.
  • Performunit and integration testing ofwork.
  • Performcodereview.
  • Complywith Clients ISO 9001 Quality ManagementSystem.
  • Createand maintain a Continuous Integration build/deploypipeline.
