The team

Our Cloud Engineering team focuses on enabling our client’s end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of: Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.

Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility and resilience, and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators

Your work profile

As a AWS Infra consultant in our Cloud engineering Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

Primary:

Migration of application/workload from On Prem to Public Cloud like AWS. Develop comprehensive cloud migration strategies in collaboration with stakeholders. Design, develop, implement highly available & scalable, cloud solutions within AWS. Execute migration plans, monitor processes, and troubleshoot issues. Manage and administer the migrated AWS cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration. Ensuring security and compliance of migrated workloads on Cloud. Hands on experience on AWS Services like EKS, EC2, VPC, Networking (Direct Connect, VPN), Load balancers, Subnet, Gateways, Route tables, Firewalls, DNS, Storage solutions. Hands on experience in implementing logging and monitoring solutions like AWS Cloud watch, Grafana, ELK. Hands on experience in Docker & Kubernetes. Automating the migration scripts and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge on Databases like DB2 & PostgreSQL. Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards. Creation of documentation on each step of migration process of all the components. Train the team on the required technologies. Lead the upskilling program within the team.

Secondary:

AWS Certified Solution Architects or Developers or DevOps Engineers. Experience with IAAC tools like terraform. Experience on Azure and Azure DevOps. Coordination with different IT stakeholders as and when needed. Suggestion and Implementation of further tool chains towards DevOps and Cloud Solutions. Responsible to train the peer colleagues.

Desired qualifications

B.E/ME/B. Tech/ M. Tech in Computer science or any other engineering Must have AWS certification

Base location: Bangalore This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations

Your role as a cloud engineer

4+ years of Working with cloud platforms. 4+ years’ Experience as an enterprise systems administrator in a client or server environment, including deployment automation tools, such as Ansible. Extensive knowledge of Linux based systems including Hardware, software, networking and storage Experience architecting cloud infrastructures on AWS for small, medium scale and enterprise level applications. Specific experience in implementing with AWS including Virtual Networks, Computes, Load Balancers, Storage, Database and IAM Services Broad experience with cloud adoption, including application readiness assessment, prototyping of new environments, server builds, data migration, performance tuning of cloud environments. Technical knowledge of infrastructure components such as Network, Storage, Linux/Windows Experience with configuring software defined networking and security configurations, including security groups and ACLs. Experience with DevOps procedures and processes and with working in an Agile environment. Experience with troubleshooting very complex distributed environments pertaining to connectivity and application performance and monitoring tools and offering high-level strategic planning and advice to an entity that will allow for the successful adoption or migration of Cloud-based technologies or services.
