Job Brief


We’re looking for a talented Senior Data Engineer Consultant to join the dynamic and diverse Enterprise Data team. If you're a self-starter with a passion for cutting-edge technology, this role is perfect for you.


You'll play a crucial part in designing and developing data solutions that help our business succeed. This is a global role, requiring you to work closely with teams across different regions and levels, utilizing your deep knowledge of data engineering.



Responsibilities


  • Design and develop solutions using cloud big data technology to process and analyze large data sets.
  • Build systems that organize and process data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and create tailored data solutions.
  • Ensure data flows smoothly through our systems, making it accessible for various applications (CRM, Finance, HR, etc.).
  • Unify and analyze data to provide valuable insights for business decisions.
  • Develop data management solutions using both relational and non-relational databases.
  • Work on Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate new solutions.
  • Help build a data lake for structured and unstructured data.
  • Follow CI/CD practices and contribute to improving our data engineering processes.
  • Mentor and support team members.



Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with technologies such as Cloud Computing (Azure preferred), Python-Spark, Azure SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
  • Experience building data pipelines from various sources (DBMS, APIs, file systems).
  • Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools.
  • A reliable, independent worker who excels in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
