Weare looking for a diligent invoice clerk to be responsible forbilling clients. The invoice clerk s duties include updatingclients details creating and sending invoices to clients trackingpayments and reporting irregularities to the financial manager. Youshould also be able to resolve billing errorsprofessionally.
Tobe successful as an invoice clerk you will know how to ensure thataccounts balance manage accounts to recover outstanding debts andfix billing discrepancies. A topnotch invoice clerk should have astrong work ethic and demonstrate excellent communication andorganizationalskills.
InvoiceClerkResponsibilities:

• Ensuringthat client information details are keptuptodate.
• Creating and sending invoices andstatements to customers.
• Checking the datainput to ensure the accuracy of the finalbill.
• Tracking payments and ensuring that thecash flow into the company isbuoyant.
• Reporting issues or irregularities tothe financial head of the company.
• Fixingbilling errors by issuing debit and creditmemos.
• Liaising with the logistics departmentand ensuring that goods are dispatched ontime.
• Recovering outstandingdebts.
• Handling clients accountqueries.
• Initiating new procedures forbilling.

InvoiceClerkRequirements:

• Ahigh school diploma or GED.
• At least two yearsof clerical office or administrationexperience.
• An associate s degree in accountingis preferred.
• Experience as an invoice clerk orin general accounting is preferred.
• Proficiencyin MS Office (especially Excel) and working knowledge of accountingsoftware such as Quickbooks.
• Excellentmathematics and problemsolving skills.
• Theability to consistently meet deadlines and to work well underpressure.
• Excellent organizational skills andattention to detail.
• The ability to handlecustomer queries calmly.
• The ability to workindependently or as part of ateam.
