OracleCloud Infrastructure (OCI)Administrator


RoleandResponsibilities:
  • Provisionconfigure and manage resources on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)platform including compute instances storage networking anddatabases.
  • Implement and maintainsecurity controls and compliance measures in accordance with OCIbest practices and organizationalrequirements.
  • Monitor OCI servicesand infrastructure components to ensure optimal performanceavailability andreliability.
  • Troubleshoot andresolve issues related to OCI resources including connectivityperformance and accesscontrols.
  • Plan and execute OCImigrations upgrades and expansions in coordination withstakeholders and projectteams.
  • Develop and maintainautomation scripts and tools to streamline OCI administration tasksand workflows.
  • Implement and managebackup recovery and disaster recovery strategies for OCI resourcesand data. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate OCI serviceswith existing infrastructure applications andservices.
  • Stay uptodate with OCIfeatures updates and new releases evaluating and recommendingimprovements asneeded.

RequirementsExperienceandSkills:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or relatedfield. 59 years of experience in cloud administration with a focuson Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(OCI).
  • Proficiency in provisioningand managing OCI resources using the OCI Console CLI and APIs.Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts andarchitectures.
  • Experience withnetworking concepts and protocols including VPN VCN and securitylists.
  • Knowledge of securityprinciples and best practices for cloudenvironments.
  • Familiarity withautomation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Terraform AnsiblePython).
  • Excellent problemsolvingand analytical skills.
  • Effectivecommunication and collaborationskills.
  • Relevant certifications(e.g. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Associate Professional)are aplus.

Requirements Experienceand Skills: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, or related field. 5-9 years of experience in cloudadministration, with a focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).Proficiency in provisioning and managing OCI resources using theOCI Console, CLI, and APIs. Strong understanding of cloud computingconcepts and architectures. Experience with networking concepts andprotocols, including VPN, VCN, and security lists. Knowledge ofsecurity principles and best practices for cloud environments.Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g.,Terraform, Ansible, Python).
