Role andResponsibilities:As aProfessor in General Surgery the successful candidate will beresponsible for teaching and mentoring medical students conductingresearch and contributing to the academic development of theinstitution. Key responsibilities include teaching researchactivities publication of research papers participation in medicaleducation technology courses and involvement in biomedical researchcourses as designated byNMC.
CandidateQualifications:The idealcandidate should hold the position of Associate Professor inGeneral Surgery for a minimum of 3 years in apermitted/approved/recognized medical college or institution.Additionally they should have 8 years of experience in a medicalcollege setting with a strong track record of at least fourresearch publications including original papers metaanalysissystematic reviews and case series published in reputable journalsindexed in Medline PubMed Central Science Citation Index ScienceCitation Index Expanded Embase Scopus and Directory of Open AccessJournals. Completion of the Basic Course in Medical EducationTechnology and Basic Course in Biomedical Research fromNMCdesignated institutions is alsorequired.
