RoleOverview:

We are seeking anexperienced Embedded Developer with 46 years ofhandson experience in developing and deploying embedded systems.The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in lowlevellanguages expertise in hardwaresoftware integration and experienceworking with realtime operating systems (RTOS). You will work ondesigning developing and troubleshooting embedded software forvarious applications across industries like automotive IoTindustrial automation healthcare andmore.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Designand Development: Design develop and test embeddedsoftware and firmware solutions for a range of hardwareplatforms.
  • Programming:Write efficient wellstructured code in C/C Assembly or otherlowlevel languages used in embedded systemsdevelopment.
  • RTOSIntegration: Implement and manage embedded realtimeoperating systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS VxWorks or QNX based onprojectneeds.
  • HardwareSoftwareIntegration: Work closely with hardware engineers tointegrate software with microcontrollers processors sensors andcommunication interfaces (I2C SPI UARTetc.).
  • Testing andDebugging: Perform system debugging and testing usingemulators simulators and other diagnostic tools to ensure softwareperformance andstability.
  • Optimization:Optimize code for low power consumption memory constraints andrealtimeperformance.
  • Documentation:Create and maintain technical documentation for embedded systemsincluding specifications designs code and usermanuals.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with crossfunctional teams including hardwareengineers system architects and QA teams to ensure systemfunctionality andperformance.
RequiredSkills andQualifications:
  • Experience:46 years of relevant experience in embedded systemsdevelopment.
  • Education:Bachelors degree in Electronics Electrical Engineering ComputerScience or a relatedfield.
  • Languages:Proficiency in C/C programming with additional knowledge ofAssembly language being aplus.
  • Microcontrollers/Processors:Handson experience with various microcontrollers (ARM Cortex PICAVR etc.) andmicroprocessors.
  • RealTimeOperating Systems (RTOS): Experience with realtimeoperating systems like FreeRTOS VxWorks orQNX.
  • HardwareKnowledge: Familiarity with embedded hardware such asmemory interfaces sensors communication protocols (SPI I2C CAN UARTetc.) and lowleveldrivers.
  • DebuggingTools: Proficient in using debugging and developmenttools like JTAG Oscilloscopes Logic Analyzers and IDEs (Keil IAREmbedded Workbenchetc.).
  • Embedded SoftwareDevelopment Lifecycle: Understanding of the softwaredevelopment life cycle for embedded systems including Agile andVmodelmethodologies.
  • Protocols:Experience with communication protocols like Bluetooth Zigbee WiFiEthernet CAN andModbus.
  • VersionControl: Experience using version control systems such asGit orSVN.
PreferredQualifications:
  • Experiencewith IoT systems and edge computingdevices.
  • Familiarity withLinuxbased embedded systems (Yocto EmbeddedLinux).
  • Knowledge ofsecurity practices for embedded systemsdevelopment (secure bootencryption).
  • Experience inpower management for batterypowereddevices.
  • Certification infunctional safety standards such as ISO 26262 orIEC 61508 is an addedadvantage.
