About the department

The Strategic Diabetes Commercial Communications role is part of the Commercial, Global Business Services (GBS) unit at Novo Nordisk. The Commercial GBS – Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. In the Diabetes Therapeutic Area, we are a passionate team helping millions of people with diabetes achieve better health outcomes through innovative medicines and solutions. We drive and execute projects across a strong portfolio comprising of both launch and life-cycle management brand.

 

 

The Position

 As a Global Project Manager, you will be responsible for:-

 

  • Product Lifecycle and Portfolio Management: Lead and support key initiatives, applying market insights to devise differentiation strategies, oversee transitions between diabetes care devices, and phase out legacy brands/products.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the commercial representative in product launch and strategy meetings, drive global partner engagement, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address strategic objectives.
  • Digital and Campaign Management: Promote best practice sharing via centralized platforms, update digital repositories, and create/distribute healthcare provider and patient-oriented campaign materials.
  • Strategic Planning and Coordination: Execute quarterly strategic planning sessions, coordinate bi-monthly cross-functional team meetings, and assist with presentations for Global Portfolio Consolidation Core Team Meetings.
  • Budget and Project Management: Ensure projects are within budget, report status monthly, monitor metrics to meet objectives, create project milestones, and manage timelines efficiently.

 

Qualifications

  • A degree preferably in life sciences; an MBA degree is preferred.
  • 4+ years in Marketing/Project Management/ Healthcare market research related experience within pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple and efficient communications and develop storylines for presentations etc.
  • Technical skills: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel (VBA, pivot etc.) and MS Word is a must.
