Skills and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. 3+ years of experience in managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms. Strong understanding of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell. Knowledge of load balancing, auto-scaling, and other cloud infrastructure services. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. AWS and Azure certifications are a plus.

Roles and responsibilities

Manage and maintain company’s cloud-based infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms. Design, configure and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available systems. Implement and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). Configure and manage load balancers and ensure high availability of applications and services. Implement and maintain auto-scaling policies to optimize system performance and ensure cost-efficiency. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve system issues. Monitor system performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and optimize system configurations to ensure high availability and reliability. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud infrastructure and suggest improvements to the existing systems.
