Job Responsibilities
Supports customers through their claim process quickly, fairly, and easily. Handles coverage investigations on losses, utilizing fast track, virtual handling, or coordination with relevant teams as needed. Reviews the policy, determines coverage for the current claim situation, and provides customers with a clear explanation. Conducts thorough claims reviews and takes appropriate action to move claims forward. Responds to emails from insured individuals, claimants, vendors, and other relevant parties, assisting with their inquiries. Performs tasks such as indexing documents, reviewing documents/police reports, and sending letters. Follows up on claims, updating the system with necessary notes, actions, and status, and creates calling tasks as needed. Searches for and reviews all mandatory documents on the system, updating information as required. Supports and mentors new team members to help them learn quickly. Identifies and shares ideas for process improvements and best practices to enhance customer experience, productivity, and efficiency. Invests time in learning and acquiring insurance domain knowledge and customer service skillsPrimary Skills
Understands insurance policies, coverage, and regulations. Follows process guidelines, pays attention to detail and takes accurate action on claims Identifies claim requirements based on provided information. Utilizes available tools to capture information accurately. Communicates clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally.Experience
