Job Description

Function: Software Engineering → Backend Development

As a Backend Developer at Juleo, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend systems that power exceptional user experiences. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a pivotal role in transforming ideas into functional and robust backend services that cater to the needs of our customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the entire backend system development life cycle, from conceptualization and design to testing and deployment.
  • Write efficient, clean, and maintainable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Continuously research and stay updated with the latest backend development trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Assist in maintaining code repositories and version control using tools like Git.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and UI/UX designers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • A genuine passion for backend development and a keen interest in scalable systems.
  • Basic understanding of prominent backend languages like Golang, Python, Node.js, and others.
  • Familiarity with backend architectures, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with development tools, server management, and database systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Previous experience with personal or academic backend projects is a plus.
  • Knowledge of system scalability principles and design patterns is advantageous.
