Job Description:

United Health System is seeking a highly qualifiedLicensed Practical Nurse to join our dynamic team in Pittsfield MA.As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you can positively impact thelives and overall health of the residents that you care for throughproviding direct nursing care to residents and supervising thedaytoday nursing activities performed by the Nursing Assistants.This care is in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act; currentfederal state and local standards. Our Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN) ensure quality care is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough health assessments for employeesincluding preemployment screenings health evaluations andimmunizations.
  • Collaborate with employers todevelop and implement effective occupational health programs thatpromote employee wellness and compliance with regulatorystandards.
  • Administer and coordinatevaccination programs ensuring employees are uptodate on requiredvaccinations.
  • Provide first aid and emergencycare to employees in the workplace as needed.
  • Conduct health and safety training sessions for employeesaddressing topics such as injury prevention ergonomic practices andhealth promotion.
  • Maintain accurate anduptodate health records for employees ensuring confidentiality andcompliance with privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers insurers andregulatory agencies to facilitate appropriate care and compliancewith occupational health standards.
  • Participate in the development and implementation ofpolicies and procedures related to occupational health andsafety.

Qualifications:

  • Provide direct patient care by performing basic nursingtasks including taking vital signs administering medicationschanging dressings assisting with personal hygiene and monitoringpatients conditions
  • Collaborate closely withother members of the interdisciplinary team including doctorsregistered nurses physical therapists social workers anddietitians
  • Communicate effectively withpatients families and colleagues regarding treatment plans progressupdates and any concerns
  • Maintain accuraterecords and documentation according to established policies andprocedures
  • Participate in ongoing educationand training programs to stay current with best practices andindustry standards
  • Assist with maintaining asafe and clean work environment following infection controlprotocols and adhering to safety guidelines
  • Perform additional duties as assigned bymanagement

Salary: $38.00 $44.00 perhour
