Sustainability Data and Reporting Team Lead

What this opportunity involves:
As the Sustainability Data and Reporting Team Lead, you will play a crucial role within JLL's high-performing Sustainability Core APAC team, focusing on data management, platform utilization, compliance, and reporting functions.
Your main responsibility will be to provide leadership to a team of sustainability analysts who specialize in detailed data analysis, reporting, and consulting. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping our clients reduce and manage their environmental footprint. To excel in this role, you will collaborate closely with internal business lines, including JLL's Client Account, Technology, and Operations teams, to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Support team development and implementation of standardized processes and technology use across the team in collaboration with the APAC Regional Lead. Manage project delivery and tasks for the team. Assist the regional lead in onboarding new clients. Develop a comprehensive understanding of JLL's sustainability reporting applications and effectively guide clients in measuring their sustainability performance. Drive data governance and data quality activities to achieve key performance outcomes. Provide consulting and technical advisory services, as well as reporting, to clients to fulfill their sustainability and compliance reporting requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience managing a team, with a focus on growth and delivering high-quality results. Strong project management background. Prior experience in sustainability and compliance reporting, with expertise in processing utility, energy, water, or waste data highly valued. 5-10 years of professional work experience. Technical background in data processing and data management. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BI tools. Excellent client-facing and communication skills. Proven ability to think laterally and solve problems effectively. Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines. Team-oriented mindset, willing to perform routine tasks as part of day-to-day responsibilities. Technical experience in environmental reporting software and manipulating large datasets will be advantageous. Familiarity with analytic reporting frameworks related to sustainability and compliance reporting requirements (e.g., GRESB, GRI, CDP, TCFD, SASB, SBTi) will be a plus.
