DUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES
To take full responsibility ofRepairs and Maintenancemachinery.
To ensure all processes andstandards aremet.
To ensure that Health andSafety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift andall matters relating to this are dealt with using the resourceswithin the company in line with the company’s Health andSafety policy.
Management of Repair andMaintenance Teams
Ensure adherence to Companypolicies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) through the ISOsystem.
To work closely with theMaintenance Controller to ensure quick action on breakdowns andrepairs and handovers are effectivelydone.
To have an active role in thecompany’s continuous improvement plan to achieve plansfor future growth within thecompany.
Maintain housekeeping standardsto ensure a clean and safe workplace using 5S andISO.
Maintaining high level oftimekeeping is of theessence.

REQUIREDMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS ANDEXPERIENCE
Trade Certificate in Fitter andTurning
Mechanical Fitter Red SealCertificate
3 – 4years’experience

REQUIREDCOMPETENCIES
Working knowledge of Pneumaticsand Hydraulics
Working knowledge ofpreventativemaintenance
Skilled inestimation
Basic Electricalknowledge
Responsible for the accurateand timeous repair ofmachinery
Excellent skill in accuratemeasurement and use of measurementequipment
Knowledge of overhead cranes toaccess outsourcingrepairs.
